Michael Mistarz Benzon has worked in various roles in the media and technology industries since 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a QA Programmer at LEGO Group, developing the LEGO Mindstorm programmable robotics brick. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as an Art Director at Scan Con, and as a Web Developer at O-mega Kommunikation. In 2006, they founded MB Online, a company providing digital strategy and marketing consulting services. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Web Developer and Project Manager at The Danish International Logistics Centre. From 2011 to 2020, they worked at Lolland-Falsters Folketidende A/S, first as a Kommerciel Direktør, CCO, then as a Digital- og projektdirektør, CDO, CPO, and finally as a Digital- og projektchef, CPO. From 2011 to 2012, they also served as Adm. Direktør/CEO at Unimedia A/S.

Michael Mistarz Benzon's education history includes the following: In 1996-1999, they attended Esbjerg Gymnasium & HF, where they obtained a Sproglig student degree. In 2000-2002, they attended Bussines Academy Southwest, where they obtained an AP Graduate in Multimedia Design and Communication degree. In 2001, they also attended Bussines Academy Southwest, where they obtained an IT Administrator degree. In 2003, they attended Truemax Academy School of 3D CGI & Animation, where they obtained a 3D Animator degree. In 2009, they attended Forsvarets Mediecenter - FMC, where they obtained a Ledelse og journalistik degree. In 2010, they attended IT-Universitetet i København, where they are currently pursuing a Master of IT (MSc in IT/cand.it) degree with a focus on Usability, accessibility, interaction design etc. In 2016, they obtained a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from Digital Marketing Institute.
