Laren Tan

Laren Tan, MD, MBA, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director of Creative Innovation, Communication and Branding at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, overseeing a team of over 1,300 professionals. As Chair of the Department of Medicine and Vice Chair of Innovation and Practice Development at Loma Linda University Health, Laren Tan drives organizational growth and innovation within the medical division. Additionally, Laren Tan is the Director of the Comprehensive Program for Obstructive Airway Diseases and leads initiatives at the Department of Medicine Center for Innovation and Promotions, emphasizing the integration of advanced healthcare technologies. Involved with various professional organizations, Laren Tan has also held leadership positions, including President of the California Thoracic Society and serves as an International Board Member for Amazing Facts. Educationally, Laren Tan holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University and an MBA in Health Care Management from La Sierra University.
