Rob Jacob

Professor

Rob Jacob is a seasoned academic and researcher with significant expertise in near-surface geophysics and hydrogeophysics. Currently, Rob serves as a Professor at Bucknell University, having progressed from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor since joining in August 2008. At Bucknell, Rob teaches various courses including Geophysics, Environmental GIS, Introduction to Physical Geology, and Geology for Engineers. Prior to this role, Rob was a Post-Doctoral researcher at Brown University from 2006 to 2008, focusing on grant writing, publishing research, and conducting studies. Rob's career began as a Geophysicist at Weston Solutions, Inc., where Rob was responsible for collecting and interpreting geophysical data related to environmental issues. Rob holds a PhD in Geophysics from Brown University and a BSc in Geology from Bucknell University.
