Monica Risam serves as the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at Lombard International Group. Previous roles include General Counsel and Company Secretary for Aviva UK Life, General Counsel for both Aviva Group and Aviva Europe, as well as various legal positions at GE Capital, where responsibilities included General Counsel for GE Capital Working Capital Solutions and UK General Counsel for GE Capital Solutions. Monica began their legal career as an associate in the International Corporate Finance Group at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP and in the Capital Markets Group at Dewey Ballantine LLP. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs from The George Washington University.
