Lennaya Smith, RN, BSN, PHN, is an experienced Nurse Clinician with a focus on high-quality patient care and education. Currently serving as the RN Infection Preventionist at Lompoc Valley Medical Center since February 2022, Lennaya has previously held leadership positions, including Nurse Manager at Lompoc Health and RN Supervisor at Sansum Clinic, overseeing nursing staff and ensuring effective patient care and education in various healthcare environments. With a solid nursing foundation initiated in pediatric care, Lennaya has developed expertise in coordinating care for neonatal to adolescent patients and leading clinical problem-solving initiatives. Educational achievements include a BSN from Midwestern State University and an AA in Liberal Arts from Allan Hancock College.
