Zena Ecott

Zena Ecott is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Business Partner at the London Borough of Camden since October 2024. Prior to this role, Zena worked as a Finance Business Partner at Brooke Weston Trust from November 2022 to September 2024 and held the position of School Business & Finance Manager at Edith Cavell Primary School from November 2017 to December 2022. Zena's career also includes experience as a Self Employed Accounting Technician, providing accounting and financial reporting services to small businesses from May 2015 to April 2020, and as a Financial Analyst for The Shared Learning Trust, where Zena produced management accounts for three academies. Zena began the professional journey at St John's Special School as a Finance Manager, responsible for management accounts and cash flow forecasts. Zena holds an ACCA degree from BPP studied online from 2020 to 2024, and has completed various accounting qualifications, including from the University of Bedfordshire and Bedford College.
