Hakeem Osinaike FCIH serves as the Strategic Director of Housing at the London Borough of Southwark since March 2024. Previously, Hakeem was the Director of Housing at the London Borough of Brent, from July 2017 to March 2024, overseeing a substantial portfolio that included asset and tenancy management, housing development, and homelessness services, with approximately 450 staff and significant financial responsibilities. Hakeem's extensive career in housing management includes roles such as Managing Director at Brent Housing Partnership, Operational Director of Housing Management at Barking and Dagenham, and key positions at various London boroughs, focusing on homelessness and housing needs. Hakeem holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham and multiple degrees in Housing Studies, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from the University of Ibadan.
