Herminia Ibarra is a prominent academic in the field of organizational behavior, currently serving as The Charles Handy Professor of Organizational Behavior at London Business School since August 2017. Prior to this role, Ibarra held the position of The Cora Chaired Professor of Leadership and Learning at INSEAD from September 2002 to July 2017, where responsibilities included teaching executives and eMBA students on leadership topics and conducting research on career transitions and leadership development. Ibarra has also served as an instructor for the Global Leadership Fellows program at the World Economic Forum from 2008 to 2013 and was a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Harvard Business School from September 1989 to September 2002. Ibarra holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Behavior from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Miami.
