Saskia van Roomen

Saskia van Roomen is an experienced outreach and community engagement professional specializing in film education and training. Currently serving as Outreach Manager at London Film School since September 2017, Saskia also directs the Community Film Club at Small World Cinema, a family-oriented initiative at Bromley Central Library, and works as a Freelance Educational Ambassador with Into Film, focusing on primary school students. Previous roles include Training Manager at Signature Pictures, where Saskia managed a skillset training program, and Freelance Programme Advisor for Binger Filmlab and Northern Film School, developing courses for emerging filmmakers. With a strong foundation in organizing training events from past positions at Directors Guild of Great Britain and the European Script Fund, Saskia holds a Master's degree in French - Cultural Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
