Tanya Wijesinghe

Tanya Wijesinghe is an experienced professional currently serving as the DEI Manager at London Fire Brigade since March 2024, responsible for designing processes for the Inclusion Team and collaborating on project execution. In addition, Tanya holds the position of Creative Communications Officer at East Grinstead Lacrosse Club, contributing to its reputation as a leading lacrosse organization in Sussex. Prior roles include Curriculum and Student Experience Coordinator at the University of Sussex, where responsibilities involved planning and coordinating institutional activities, and Student Advice Manager at the University of Portsmouth Students' Union, focusing on engaging hard-to-reach students. Previous experience also encompasses positions at the University of West London Students’ Union, including Student Support Coordinator and Academic Caseworker, alongside a brief stint as Campaign Manager at IQPC and early roles in retail at Tesco. Tanya is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Social Research Methods at the University of Sussex after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of West London.
