Tom Janzen

Tom Janzen currently serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer at London Health Sciences Centre, a position held since November 2003, where responsibilities have expanded significantly over the years. In addition to this role, Tom is a Primary Care Physician with a focus in Mental Health at Parkwood Institute Mental Health and owns Thomas Peter Janzen Medicine Professional Corporation, both since November 2003 and January 2000, respectively. Tom is also the Chair for District 2 at the Ontario Medical Association from February 2023 to February 2025. Prior to these roles, Tom practiced as a family physician in London, Ontario, from July 1988 to November 2003. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Western University, earned between 1981 and 1987, with a focus on Pure Mathematics.
