Richard Boffey

Richard Boffey is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Head of AccessHE at London Higher since March 2021, where leadership of the widening access and participation division is the primary focus. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Deputy Head at AccessHE from January 2018 to March 2021, coordinating key London programmes and managing communications with partners. Richard's earlier experience includes a leadership role as Head of Research in the Global Higher Education practice at Perrett Laver and various positions within that practice, engaging with senior academics and administering research projects. Richard's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in German Studies, a Master's degree in History, and a Bachelor's degree in German and History, all obtained from the University of Leeds.
