Peter Bath

Peter Bath is a seasoned professional in risk management with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently at the London Metal Exchange since June 2020, Peter specializes in clearing risk management, covering various aspects such as market, credit, liquidity, and quantitative risk, along with model validation and regulatory governance within commodities and derivatives. Prior to this role, Peter worked at Legal & General Investment Management in project management related to OTC derivatives and independent price verification, and held a risk management position at ASX, focusing on quantitative analytics and margin model development. Earlier in the career, Peter gained experience at AMP Capital in business management and at RBS in equity derivatives, where expertise included derivative pricing and model risk management. Peter holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering and pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham.
