Sophie Tan

Sophie Tan is a seasoned professional in operations management with extensive experience in the finance and commodities sectors. Currently serving as the Clearing Operations Manager at London Metal Exchange since September 2013, Sophie has progressed through various roles, including Clearing Operations Supervisor, Senior Operations Analyst, and Junior Operations Analyst. Prior to this, Sophie held positions at Credit Agricole in Capital Market Operation Project Management from December 2011 to May 2013, and at Societe Generale as a Commodities Back Office Analyst and IRD Back Office Analyst from April 2010 to July 2011, as well as Commodities - Base Metals - Back Office Analyst from August 2008 to December 2009. Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Market Finance from INSEEC, completed in 2009.
