Marianne Forrest

Marianne Forrest is a seasoned designer and maker with a career spanning several decades. Since December 1983, Marianne Forrest has operated Marianne Forrest Ltd, specializing in the design and creation of wristwatches, pocket watches, and various timepieces, including public art works. Trained as a silversmith, Marianne Forrest has expanded the exploration of materials, incorporating stone, glass, fur, and twigs into innovative designs. In academia, Marianne Forrest has held multiple significant roles at London Metropolitan University since 2001, including Head of CASS 3D, Principal Lecturer, and 3D Cluster Leader, along with previous positions at The Cass and Goldsmiths Hall. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Silversmithing from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor's degree in 3D Design (Silversmithing) from Middlesex University.
