Thomas Ardill is a seasoned visual arts curator with extensive experience in managing paintings, prints, and drawings at prominent institutions in London. Currently serving as Curator of Paintings, Prints and Drawings at the Museum of London, Thomas has led significant projects, including the curatorial lead for the upcoming permanent displays at the London Museum's future home and co-curating notable exhibitions such as 'Executions' and 'Secret Rivers.' Recently, Thomas has taken on a freelance curatorial role for the upcoming exhibition "A World of Care: Turner and the Environment" at Turner’s House in Twickenham. Thomas's educational background includes a PhD and an MA in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, complemented by a BA in English and History of Art from the University of Birmingham. Previous roles include positions at Tate Britain, the National Portrait Gallery, and various volunteer and administrative roles in the arts sector.
