Angela Kukula

Angela Kukula currently serves as the CEO of MedCity and Director of Life Sciences at London & Partners, focusing on advancing life science development. Angela holds a position as a non-executive Board Member at Oxford University Innovation. Previously, Angela was the Commercial Director at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, overseeing the Enterprise Division. Angela has extensive experience in managing business and innovation at The Institute of Cancer Research, where responsibilities included commercial interactions with scientists. Angela also chaired PraxisAuril, promoting knowledge exchange and commercialization within the UK. Earlier roles included leading technology transfer processes at Aston University and Isis Innovation Ltd and managing international research collaborations at Novartis and Nippon Boerhinger Ingelheim. Angela completed an MA in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, a PhD in Molecular Immunology and Genetics from London University, an MBA in Technology Management from The University of Sheffield, and an LLM in Commercial Law from Northumbria University.
