Alexander Gordon

Alexander Gordon (Zemtsov) serves as a conductor for the London Philharmonic Orchestra since October 2021 and the National Opera of Ukraine since February 2020. Additionally, Alexander holds positions as an opera conductor with INSO Lviv since September 2017 and as a conductor with the Sofia Philharmonic since December 2018. Alexander has been associated with Toccata Classics as a conductor since March 2014 and has previously served as a viola professor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama from September 2006 to May 2012. Alexander's experience also includes tenures as the principal violist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra from September 2002 to May 2012. Educationally, Alexander completed a Master's degree in Orchestral and Opera Conducting at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from September 2019 to August 2023.
