Andrew McLaughlin

Andrew McLaughlin is an experienced planning and performance professional currently serving as the Head of Planning and Performance at London South Bank University since August 2022. Previously, Andrew held the position of Planning and Analytics Manager at London Metropolitan University for nearly a year and took a career break in 2019 for family reasons. Prior roles include Senior Planning Officer at Queen Mary University of London, where responsibilities included managing the annual funding return and student number planning, and Process Improvement Project Manager during a secondment to the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. Andrew's experience also encompasses roles as a Planning Analyst at the University of Cambridge and Reporting Analyst at PA Consulting. Educated at the University of Cambridge with a Master of Arts in Natural Sciences and The Open University with a BSc in Systems Thinking, Andrew combines analytical expertise with a focus on process improvement in higher education settings.
