Ben Lishman

Ben Lishman serves as the Associate Dean for Students at London South Bank University, overseeing education and student experience across the College of Technology and Environment, which includes four schools focused on various engineering and design disciplines. With extensive experience in mechanical engineering and design, Ben has held multiple academic roles, including Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, and has a rich background in teaching subjects such as solid mechanics and thermofluids. Prior to current positions, Ben engaged in research at prestigious institutions, including University College London and University of Bristol, concentrating on ice mechanics and innovative sensor design. Ben holds a Ph.D. in Fluid Flow, an MPhil in Quantitative Modelling of Industrial Processes, and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Information Engineering, all from the University of Cambridge.
