James Shepherd

James Shepherd is an experienced technology leader in the financial services sector, currently serving as Head of Architecture for Trading Technology at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) since February 2021. Prior to this role, James held similar positions at Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters, showcasing a consistent progression in architecture and technology leadership since 1999. James has also contributed significantly as a C++ Real-time Development Lead and Java Development Lead at Reuters Consulting and has a solid educational background with a Master of Science in Fluids and Computing from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Engineering, Aeronautics, and Computing from the University of the West of England.
