Alan Benson MBE FRSA is an experienced campaigner and activist dedicated to advocating for the rights of disabled individuals, with a particular focus on transport accessibility in London. Currently serving as a Campaigner and Activist, Alan has played a significant role in diverse initiatives, including demonstrations and lobbying efforts. In addition to this role, Alan holds positions as a Board Member at London TravelWatch and as Chair of Transport for All. Alan's extensive career in IT includes senior roles at various educational institutions and local government, providing IT support and management services. Alan's academic qualifications include an MSc in Management Innovation and Change from the University of Aberdeen and a BSc in Computing and Economics from Lancashire Polytechnic.

London TravelWatch is the independent, statutory watchdog for transport users in and around London. Funded by the London Assembly, we speak for all London transport users on all modes of transport. We look into complaints from people unhappy with the response they have received from their transport provider.
