James Hails

James Hails is an experienced leader in fundraising and communications, currently serving as the Director of Fundraising and Communications at London Youth since March 2024. With a strong history in various organizations, James has held significant roles, including Chair of the Fundraising and Marketing Committee at Dance City and Head of Partnerships & Philanthropic Giving at Independent Age, where a ten-fold income increase was achieved within four years. Previous positions include heading corporate partnerships at Alzheimer's Society, British Heart Foundation, and The Stroke Association. James also has a background in communications management and development, with successful tenures at FUSEBOXDESIGN and Northern Film & Media, alongside relevant educational qualifications in Journalism and English & History from the University of Sunderland and Northumbria University.
