VP, System Engineering & Integration Solutions at Lone Star Analysis

Laurie Cummins is the Vice President, Program and Systems Advisory at Lone Star Analysis. Most recently she was Director of Program and Systems Advisory since 2018, and prior to that was Technical Lead for the Joint Stand-off Missile (JSM) Program. Laurie has been an integral member of the Lone Star team since joining us in 2006 as a Mechanical/Project Engineer.

Laurie is responsible for guiding the Program and System Advisory Line of Business, where she has played an integral role in the successful qualification of the Norwegian JSM missile. She has also served as an Engagement Lead and Senior Consultant in our Product Optimization Group and was one of the initial team members utilizing Lone Star’s TruNavigator software. Laurie holds a patent, for a GPS Ankle Monitoring Device, developed for one of our clients. It became the foundation for the clients’ new company division.

She began her professional career in the early 1980s in the Texas Instruments Defense Group in Weapons System Design and Test. Laurie worked multiple weapons programs, including the Paveway family of weapons and JSOW in the roles of design, supplier management and test/integration.

She also worked in the Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing and Semiconductor divisions. In addition, Laurie was the project engineer, where she built and assembled the stub wing for Pratt and Whitney’s 747 flying test bed.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and graduate studies in Engineering Management at Southern Methodist University.
