Alicia Rodriguez

Alicia Rodriguez has a significant amount of work experience in the healthcare field. Alicia started working at Lone Star Circle of Care in 2010 as a Certified Medical Assistant in the pediatric healthcare department. Alicia enjoyed working with the low-income community and providing healthcare services to families of all ages. Alicia'sresponsibilities included following vaccine schedules, managing Immtrac records, conducting in-house lab testing, and performing phlebotomy on children from 3 days old to 18 years old. Alicia worked in this role until March 2019.

In 2021, Alicia returned to Lone Star Circle of Care and took on the role of Clinic Registered Nurse. Alicia provided nursing care to patients and assisted with various clinical tasks. In January 2023, they were promoted to Clinical Operations Manager-Nurse, where they currently manage the operations and nursing staff in the clinic.

Alicia Rodriguez pursued their nursing education by first completing an Associate's Degree of Nursing at Austin Community College from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they focused on Pediatric Nurse/Nursing. In 2020, Alicia enrolled at The University of Texas at Arlington to pursue their RN-BSN degree, which they completed in 2022. Additionally, Alicia obtained various certifications including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington in May 2022, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in August 2021, and Registered Nurse certification from the Texas Board of Nursing in June 2020.
