Jose Ferrua, MBA, BSIE, FACHE

Jose Ferrua has a range of work experience in various companies and roles. Jose is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Lone Star Circle of Care since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at JOL Healthcare, Inc. from 2021 to 2023. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as the Executive Vice President & Chief of Staff to the CEO at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Health System. Jose has also worked at HP as the Engineering & Analytics IT, Office of the CIO GPMO Finance Manager from 2013 to 2017. Before that, they were the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Lone Star Circle of Care from 2009 to 2013. Jose has additional finance experience from their roles at BORLAND and DELL. Jose started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant in Finance and Economics at Texas State University-San Marcos. Prior to this, they had interned as a Finance Intern at Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor. Additionally, they have leadership experience as the Leader of the Strategic Projects Coordination Division at Universal America Insurance Company. Jose Ferrua holds an MBA and a BSIE degree and is also a FACHE certified professional.

Jose Ferrua completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo from 1997 to 2001. Jose then pursued further education and earned their MBA in Business from Texas State University between 2003 and 2005.
