Ms. Williams Smith is a Senior Managing Director and the General Counsel for Lone Star, responsible for the legal function of the organization. Ms. Williams Smith serves as Chair of Lone Star’s Legal and Compliance Risk Committee and is a member of Lone Star’s Global Risk Committee.

Ms. Williams Smith has practiced law for over 20 years. Ms. Williams Smith previously served as Deputy General Counsel to Lone Star. Prior to joining Lone Star, she worked for Hudson in a variety of capacities including Managing Director, Senior Fund Counsel focused on Fund matters, Vice President and Counsel with a focus on European transactions and related matters by certain Funds, and assisting with certain regulatory matters. Prior to joining Hudson in 2008, Ms. Williams Smith was a Partner in the Dallas, Texas office of Baker Botts L.L.P., where she advised on various corporate transactions with a particular focus on M&A transactions and public and private equity offerings. Ms. Williams Smith holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and a law degree from Baylor University.
