Alex Flores

Alex Flores has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Alex is currently serving as the Executive Vice President at Lone Star Paving, starting from June 2021. Prior to this role, they were the Vice President of Construction at Austin Materials, LLC from November 2020 to June 2021. Alex has also worked at Summit Materials as a Construction Manager from February 2019 to November 2020, and as a Senior Project Manager & Estimating Manager at Austin Materials from February 2016 to February 2019. Before that, they worked at Oldcastle as a Construction Performance Manager from June 2013 to February 2016. Alex began their career at APAC-Texas, Inc. in 2006, where they held various roles including Estimator III and QC & Project Manager. Their responsibilities included estimating, project management, quality control, and overseeing asphalt plant operations.

Alex Flores attended Texas A&M University from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Management.
