Asia Garcia

Asia Garcia has a strong background in audit and compliance. Starting in 2011, they worked at Colonial Savings, F.A. as an Investor Reporting Analysis II before being promoted to Internal Auditor in 2012. In this role, they planned and performed audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines. Asia also identified and communicated compliance issues to management. In 2015, they joined Elevate as an Internal Auditor, where they conducted operational and financial audits and provided pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues. Since 2016, Asia has been Vice President of Audit and Compliance at Lone Star Ag Credit, where they serve as the association's liaison with auditors, reviewers, and examiners. Asia evaluates compliance with association policies, identifies potential risks, and takes action to achieve compliance and improve procedures.

Asia Garcia attended Texas A&M University School of Law from 2020 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Risk Management. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they studied at The University of Texas at Arlington and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General.
