Gary Cavey has over 35 years of work experience in various project management and construction roles. Gary is currently working as a Project Manager at LoneStar Energy Fabrication since June 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Construction at Rockstep Capital from December 2017 to June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Arrowmont Constructors from September 2016 to November 2017. From September 2013 to September 2016, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at Lonestar Marine Shelters. Gary also worked at United Steel Structures, Inc. as a Project Manager from May 2007 to September 2013 and at Conservatek Industries as a Project Manager from November 2000 to May 2005. Gary served as the Corporate Engineer and Construction Manager at Boxer Property from April 1998 to October 2000. Before that, they held the role of Vice President of Engineering and Construction at Astrodome USA from December 1991 to April 1998. Gary's career started at Pebble Beach Company, where they worked as the Vice President of Asset Management from September 1987 to December 1991.
Gary Cavey received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, where they studied from 1976 to 1982. Additionally, they obtained an Associates degree in Metallurgical Technology/Technician from Arapahoe Community College, where they studied from 1978 to 1980. Gary Cavey has also acquired certifications from various institutions, including the American Petroleum Institute - Committee Member - Pressure Vessels, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Construction Specifications Institute, and the National Fire Protection Association.

LoneStar Energy Fabrication has an extensive background in the fabrication, construction, and rig up of oilfield components, offshore rigs, land rigs and quarters buildings for land and offshore use. We are API and ISO/TS-29001 certified for the design and heavy fabrication of metal products and components for the offshore and land drilling, subsea, petrochemical and refining industries including modular and single quarters and SCR, VFD and MCC houses; design and fabrication of aluminum helidecks; heavy fabrication of BOP handling systems and drilling equipment. We have one of the largest rig-up and fabrication yards in the Houston/Gulf Coast area, allowing us to complete any sized project.
