Caribe Hourigan

Caribe Hourigan has a strong background in sales and convention services, with significant work experience in the hospitality industry. Caribe served as the National Sales Director for the Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau since 2016. Prior to that, they held the same position at the Anaheim Convention Bureau from 1995 to 2006. Caribe also worked for Marriott International as a Convention Sales Director from 1986 to 1991 and at Radisson as the Director of Catering and Convention Services Manager from 1982 to 1986.

Caribe Hourigan holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Social Work from the University of Southern California, which they earned from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Psychology, double majoring, from Vanderbilt University between 1978 and 1982.
