Shannon Yates

Shannon Yates has a diverse work experience in various roles within the tourism and events industry. They began their career in 2014 as a Partnerships Coordinator at EEM USA and worked there until 2017. Following that, they joined the Long Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau and held positions such as Sales Event Coordinator and Convention Services Manager from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Shannon is employed as a Client Relations Manager at the same company, a role that they have held since 2021. In 2023, they were promoted to the position of Client Relations Director.

Shannon Yates attended the University of Oregon from 2000 to 2004, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sports Business.
