Lamont M. Nguyen

Lamont M. Nguyen is a seasoned professional in emergency services and education, currently serving as Secretary-Treasurer and Vice President of Long Beach Firefighters Local 372 since August 2021, and as a Commissioner for the State of California-Emergency Medical Services Authority starting in 2024. With extensive experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic at Long Beach Fire Department since 2018, Lamont has also been an EMT/EMR Instructor for South Coast ROP and Coastline ROP since 2015. Previous roles include Firefighter Reserve at Fountain Valley Fire Department, Ambulance Operator at Huntington Beach Fire Department, and Training Supervisor at Care Ambulance Services, Inc. Lamont's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Oklahoma City University and several certifications related to fire administration.
