Robert Garcia Ed.d.

Robert Garcia, Ed.D., serves as a faculty member at the University of Southern California, where courses in Journalism and Public Policy are taught at the Annenberg School for Communication and the Sol Price School of Public Policy. With experience as the publisher of Long Beach Post since 2007, Robert founded LBPOST.com, which has become the second most read news source in Long Beach. Prior to this, Robert held the position of Communications Director at Long Beach City College, overseeing media and public relations. Robert also lectured at California State University, Long Beach, in the Department of Communication Studies and Film and Electronic Arts. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Southern California.
