Nancy Olmos is an experienced librarian currently serving as a Young Adult Librarian, Children's Librarian, and Substitute Librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library since October 2018. Additionally, Nancy has been a Substitute Librarian at Long Beach Public Library since January 2016. Prior to these roles, Nancy held various positions at the University of Southern California from September 2007 to April 2022, including Head of Electronic Resources & Continuations and Associate University Librarian, as well as Head of Metadata & Content Management. Nancy began a library career as a Library Assistant and also gained experience as a Student Library Assistant at UCLA from 2004 to 2005. Nancy holds a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chicana and Chicano Studies with a minor in LGBT Studies from UCLA, earned in 2007.
