Daisy Garcia

Daisy Garcia has a comprehensive background in education, currently serving as a Program Facilitator with the Long Beach Unified School District since August 2023, following a role as a Dual Immersion Teacher from August 2020 to June 2023. Prior experience includes directing an innovation STEAM camp at Galileo Learning and teaching as a 4th Grade Dual Language educator at Los Angeles Unified School District, where Daisy also mentored UCLA student teachers. Daisy's teaching trajectory began as a member of Teach For America, selected from a competitive pool, and included roles at San Francisco Unified School District and various positions at San Francisco State University focused on student support and communications. Daisy holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds multiple degrees and credentials in education, bilingual education, and psychology.
