Jessica Mercado

Jessica Mercado is an experienced educator and project manager with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at Long Beach Unified School District since March 2022, Jessica previously held multiple roles at the Center for Creative Leadership from February 2012 to July 2021, including Implementation Manager and Senior Project Manager, focusing on custom solutions and coaching for multi leader-level journeys. Additionally, Jessica was Dance Director and Artistic Director at Super Sonic Samba School from February 2017 to August 2019, where instruction in Brazilian Samba dance was provided across various skill levels, alongside collaboration on music and performance sets. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Migration from UC San Diego, earned between 2004 and 2008, and attended College of San Mateo from August 2002 to May 2004.
