Shayna Levin Brown

Shayna Levin Brown, CAS, is the founder of Chez Boom Audio LLC, specializing in audio pre/post-production since January 2012. As a member of the Board of Trustees at the Long Center for the Performing Arts, Shayna has served as Chair since 2024. Shayna was appointed to the City of Austin's Economic Prosperity Commission in 2022 and engaged as a university lecturer at Texas State University from 2017 to 2021, teaching audio post-production. Previous roles include a member of the Board of Advisors at Anthropos Arts and a position on the Board of Directors for the Texas Homeless Network. Shayna has extensive experience as Chief Sound Designer at Tequila Mockingbird Studios and worked as a freelance audio engineer for various media projects. Educational qualifications include a BA in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University, expected to be completed in May 2024.
