Andrew Wienckowski

Andrew Wienckowski serves as the Deputy Fire Chief at Long Grove Fire Protection District since June 2022 and has extensive experience in public safety consulting and education. As an Independent Contract Consultant for AJW Consulting since August 2016, Andrew delivers specialized services in Fire/EMS/Technical Rescue and OSHA compliance. Additionally, Andrew has been an Adjunct Professor at Southern Illinois University since August 2016, educating students in Fire Management and Public Safety. Previous roles include Battalion Chief at Lake Villa Fire Protection District and Lieutenant/PM at Gurnee Fire Department, where Andrew focused on organizational transformation and team leadership. Andrew holds a Master's degree in Public Safety and Homeland Security Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Services Administration, and multiple certifications from the National Fire Academy and other institutions.
