David Owens

David Owens has extensive experience in fire prevention and public safety, serving as Deputy Fire Chief at the City of North Vancouver since June 1996, with prior roles including Assistant Fire Chief, Lieutenant, and Building Inspector. In addition to municipal duties, David Owens has contributed to education as a Continuing Education Instructor at Langara College since September 2003, focusing on Residential Property Analysis and House Construction. David Owens holds an Associate Certificate in Leadership with Distinction from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, obtained between 2009 and 2012, and a BA in Geography from The University of British Columbia, earned from 1989 to 1992.
