Evelyn Castro

Evelyn Castro is an accomplished education leader with extensive experience in academic administration and educational leadership. Currently serving as Dean at Long Island University and Director of the NYC Parent Academy, Evelyn has held these roles since January 2008, while also contributing as an Associate Professor in Leadership. Previously, Evelyn worked as a Superintendent for the NYC Department of Education from 1996 to 2005. Evelyn holds an EdD in Administration, Curriculum, and Business from Columbia University.
