Jayde Essex is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in project coordination and habitat restoration. Currently serving as a Project Coordinator at Long Live the Kings, Jayde previously held the role of Habitat Project Coordinator at Sound Salmon Solutions, overseeing habitat restoration crews and project delivery. Previous positions include Habitat Technician at the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, and Parks Specialist I at EarthCorps, where Jayde gained hands-on experience in ecological restoration across the Puget Sound region. Jayde has also contributed to academic research as a Field Site Leader and Research Assistant at Appalachian State University, focusing on pollinator studies. Educationally, Jayde holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology from Appalachian State University.
