Briton Wells

Briton Wells has a diverse range of work experience. Briton began their career as a Summer Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they conducted research on the adhesive properties of alkaline wastewater extracts. Briton then worked as a PEY Technologist and Software Tester at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Inc., where they were responsible for troubleshooting software and hardware issues and conducting test plans.

After that, Briton joined The Briton House as an IT Support Technician. Briton then moved on to work at Achievers as a Data and Reporting Analyst and later as an Account Specialist, where they provided customized solutions to meet the specific business needs of clients.

Briton then joined Slalom Consulting as an Analyst and later as a Consultant. Briton was known as the "Power BI guy" and worked on end-to-end solutions for clients, including gathering requirements, data modeling, and building reports.

Next, Briton worked at Hitachi Solutions Canada as an Architect, focusing on enterprise analytics deployments and modern data estate architecture using Azure services.

Currently, Briton is working at Long View Systems as a Technical Architect. Briton has also held the roles of Solutions Architect and Solutions Architect Team Lead at the same company.

Briton Wells completed a Master of Management Analytics (MMA) degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University in 2018. Briton attended the Ontario Science Centre Science School for high school in 2009 and Cardinal Carter Catholic High School from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including the Customer Data Platform Specialty, Power Platform App Maker Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, and Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, with different obtained months and years specified.
