Christopher Hopkins has a diverse work experience in technical writing and documentation. Christopher started their career as a Documentation Specialist at Unisen, where they created high-quality software product documentation for financial software modules. Christopher worked with other teams such as developers, business analysts, testers, and other writers to produce release notes, user guides, system setup guides, FAQs, and technical documents.

At Citigroup Fund Services Canada, they served as a Documentation Team Lead/Application Support Senior Supervisor. Christopher led a team of technical writers in creating a help file for Unitrax, a complex application for the financial services industry. Christopher also designed and developed a corporate Knowledge Base using Sharepoint, which provided quick answers to customers about the company's products.

Christopher then worked at L&T Infotech as a Documentation Team Lead/Application Support Senior Supervisor. Here, they provided their expertise in leading the documentation team and providing application support.

At DMS Governance, Christopher held the position of Technical Writer/Business Analyst. Christopher created disaster recovery/business continuity plans for multiple companies within the DMS group. Christopher also documented business requirements for internally developed applications, collaborating with business leaders.

Currently, Christopher is working at Longbow Advantage as a Content and Compliance Manager / Technical Writer. Christopher has played a crucial role in planning and executing the documentation effort for the Rebus Analytics Platform. This involved creating an online help file, release notes, and video tutorials. Christopher also led the team's SOC2 re-certification effort.

Christopher Hopkins completed their education in a chronological order. Christopher started their educational journey by obtaining a Certificate in E-Business from Centennial College in the year 2005, which lasted until 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Certificate in Technical Communication from Seneca College from 1999 to 2000. Later, Christopher earned their Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University between 1994 and 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Christopher Hopkins has obtained several certifications. Christopher received a Business Analysis Certificate from the International Institute for Learning in May 2014. In June 2011, they obtained the Certified Usability Analyst certification from Human Factors International. Christopher also holds the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA, which they acquired in July 2020. Lastly, they attained the Certification of Competency in Business Analysis from the IIBA in May 2017.
