Christopher Gentile

Board Member at Longenecker & Associates

Christopher Gentile is currently a Board Member at Longenecker & Associates. Prior to that, they were a Group Leader - Regulatory Support and Performance at Los Alamos National Laboratory from September 2010 to December 2014. In this role, they managed staff members in the areas of Contract Assurance, Deliverables Compliance and Regulatory Support. Christopher also provided regulatory support for remediation projects across LANL in the areas of compliance and interpretation of environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA, NEPA).

From May 2004 to August 2010, Gentile was an Environmental Specialist/Supervisor at the New Mexico Environment Department - Hazardous Waste Bureau. In this role, they oversaw construction projects in support of hazardous and radioactive waste processing and shipment. Christopher also performed reviews/oversight of subcontractor deliverables to ensure technical accuracy.

From January 2015 to January 2017, Gentile served as the Division Director at the New Mexico Environment Department. In this role, they were responsible for the overall management of the division, including budgeting, staffing, and program development.
