Trudy Vanhove

Trudy (Geertrui) Vanhove, MD, PhD, currently serves as a Venture Partner at Longitude Capital and as a member of the Board of Directors at Ziphius. Trudy owns Biophare Consulting LLC and previously held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Surrozen, a company focused on developing regenerative medicines targeting the Wnt signaling pathway essential for stem cell maintenance and tissue regeneration. Prior roles include Vice President at Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Depomed, Inc., as well as Vice President of Clinical Development at NeurogesX, Inc. Trudy also served as a Senior Investment Manager at GIMV and as Medical Director at XOMA (US) LLC. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmacology and an MD from KU Leuven, a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology from Stanford University School of Medicine, an MBA from Saint Mary's College of California, and an ongoing certificate program in Artificial Intelligence in Pharma and Biotech from MIT Sloan School of Management.
