Sam Cummings

Sam Cummings has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Currently, Sam is the CFO & EVP of Strategy at LongPath Technologies, Inc. Since September 2022, Sam has also been serving as an advisor at 7Gen. Prior to these roles, Sam worked at Vision Ridge Partners, LLC from February 2015 to May 2022, initially as a Sr. Associate and later as a Principal. Before that, Sam was an Investment Banking Associate at KGS-Alpha Capital Markets, L.P. from December 2013 to March 2015. Sam also gained experience at J.P. Morgan in 2013, working in Investment Banking | M&A Advisory from June to September. In 2012, Sam served as a Financial Consultant at Imprima / HAL Investments. In 2011, Sam held the position of Project Manager at AgriPure BV. Sam also had brief stints as a Summer Analyst at McKinsey & Company from June to October 2011 and as a Summer Associate at The European Climate Foundation from June to August 2010.

Sam Cummings has a comprehensive education history. In 2004 to 2006, they attended Lester B. Pearson United World College of the Pacific and received an International Baccalaureate. From 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science at McGill University. In 2009, they attended Columbia University for an exchange semester focused on Economics - Game Theory. In 2012 to 2013, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
