Heather J. Head

Heather J. Head has extensive experience in the field of child advocacy and nursing, serving as the Executive Director and Forensic Clinical Director at Edmondson Telford Child Advocacy Center since 1998. In this role, Heather oversees forensic medical examination services for suspected child abuse victims and coordinates cases with local agencies. Additionally, Heather functions as a Pediatric Forensic Sexual Assault Medical Examiner, providing expert witness testimony in related cases. As a Family Nurse Practitioner at The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., Heather specializes in adolescent gynecology and women's health issues. Heather also contributed to nursing education as an Adjunct Faculty member at Brenau University, teaching courses focused on pediatrics, women's health, and forensic nursing. Heather holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Brenau University, a Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing from the University of North Georgia, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau University.
