Sonam Gosai

Sonam Gosai, FIA, is a Senior Actuarial Consultant at Longtail Re since November 2023 and serves as an IFoA Assistant Examiner for the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries since August 2022, marking for SA3 Fellowship Exams. Previously, Sonam held the position of Chief Insurance Officer at Nimble from August 2022 to May 2023, and worked as a Senior Consultant at EY from October 2021 to August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Reinsurance Actuary and Senior Actuarial Analyst at Santam Insurance from November 2019 to October 2021, an Actuarial Pricing Analyst at Standard Bank South Africa from July 2018 to November 2019, and an Actuarial Analyst at Alexander Forbes from July 2016 to June 2018. Sonam holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed between 2013 and 2015.
