Uday Anand

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Longtail Technologies

Uday Anand has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Uday recently co-founded and serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Longtail Technologies. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at Meta and Robinhood.

Uday also gained valuable experience at prominent tech companies such as Netflix, where they worked as an Engineer and had notable achievements in leading cross-functional projects and owning Gift Code generation tools and services. At Microsoft, they worked as an Engineer, contributing to backend framework enhancements and spearheading the creation of a Data and Analytics platform.

Earlier in their career, Uday worked at Expedia Group and Sabre Corporation, where they had various engineering responsibilities and gained experience in product development, bug fixes, on-call developer support, and scrum master roles. Uday also freelanced during this time.

Before venturing into the industry, Uday worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Goa University, where they assisted with courses on algorithm design, data and file structures.

Uday Anand's education history starts with their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from Delhi University from 2003 to 2006. Uday further pursued a Master's degree in Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from Goa University, which they completed from 2006 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Uday obtained the Professional Scrum Master - PSM 1 certification from Scrum.org in October 2011. Uday also acquired several certifications from Coursera, including "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python," "An Introduction to Operations Management," and "Machine Learning" in May 2014.

Uday Anand then pursued their interest in leadership education at Cornell University, where they completed their first program, a degree in High-Performance Leadership, in 2018. In 2020, they enrolled in the Psychology of Leadership program at Cornell University, focusing on the study of Organizational Leadership.
